The alien known on Earth as David Bowie was seen embarking on his spaceship into the early hours of this Monday.

With a long carreer on terraqueous arts, Bowie came to the planet with 900 years old, though he appeared only 25 when he released some of the biggest popular songs till then, always remembering his origins outside this planet.

Some of them: “Space Oddity,” “Life on Mars?” And “Starman” (who bravely resisted an attempt of the Brazilian band Nenhum de Nós translated it as “Marble Astronaut”).

Bowie was accompanied by some friends. Ziggy Stardust (who could play guitar), Alladin Sane, Major Tom and Thin White Duke watched the alien’s departure. According to friends, Bowie will return to his homeland, a much more advanced planet than Earth. There, an artist is not defined by their sexuality, is not restricted to only one field of activity and can reinvent itself forever without giving satisfaction to the critics.

“There are five years left to cry,” said the friend Ziggy Stardust, perhaps suggesting that the singer make a return in a few years.

In the radio of his spaceship, Bowie told us to say he loved his wife and spoke some words as he entered orbit:

- I’m high above the world. Planet Earth is blue and there’s nothing I can do.

The last words of David Bowie before his spaceship reached the speed of light were: “We can be heroes for a day.”
